About Me

Hey, I bet you want to know a little bit about me before you come and see me! I love the outdoors (plenty of that here in Hot Springs!), doing anything with family, watching wildlife, reading, visiting coffee shops, and going on adventures with friends. Little fun things can get me really excited! I feel blessed when I see people become more peaceful, motivated, and happy as they learn strategies of healing with me by their side. I am so grateful to be a Christian and have been trained in Christian Counseling as part of my degree and can incorporate that into therapy if you desire. Now for the boring stuff: I have worked in outpatient and inpatient settings, treating issues such as depression, anxiety, career challenges, and family conflicts. I graduated with my Masters’ degree from Henderson State University in 2011 and received my license that year.

My Approach:

Every therapist is warm, inviting, and understanding. I’m that, and I want to explain a little bit more about what therapy with me is like. During the first session I will ask you what your goal for therapy is. I will help you think about your reason for coming to therapy in a way that can bring insights, healing, and growth. Suggesting skills for you to use that can improve your relationships; helping you identify where you are tripping yourself up; and helping you learn to communicate exactly what you need to express are some of the tools I will utilize in helping you achieve your goals.
